Fire dancers at the HYPA Fire & Ice GalaJanuary 24, 2009

The Houston Pavilions is the home of the House of Blues and a number of shops, but on January 24, it was also the location for the hottest (and the coolest) party in town. Houston Young People for the Arts (HYPA) threw its third annual gala outside under the sky ring.

The gala featured performances by musical guest Glasnost, fire dancers from Luminosity, and ice sculptures. DJ Ceeplus Bad Knives was also at the event.
