Every now and then we have trouble convincing people to talk to us on camera... at Precinct 19 and 24... that was not the case.
As soon as my photographer and I walked into Dodson Elementary school dozens of voters raised their hands and said,
"What channel are you with?"
"This needs to be on the news, we've been waiting for hours."
"We've been standing outside for hours."
Most voters were upset, tired, but ready to exercise their right to vote and head home.
But, noone was going anywhere fast.
Some of the people waiting in line told me that many voters turned around and went home.
Atleast 200 voters ARE still waiting
I'm told the wait was due to paperwork... sheets of paper that took every voter minutes to fill out.
And while casting their second vote was a waiting affair... it's a right many voters say is worth the wait.
