Actually I don't have Jenny's number, but I do wish I had her name, because this Friday Dessert Gallery is honoring all Jens, Jennifers and Jennys with free cake. If you're a fan of Dessert Gallery, you are probably already familiar with Jennifer's Birthday Cake, but who in the world is Jennifer and why does she have a cake named after her? It turns out that Jennifer is Owner/Dessert Diva Sara Brook's daughter, and she's turning 20 on Friday -- so to celebrate the special occasion all Jennifers, Jens and Jennys in the Houston area are invited to visit one of Dessert Gallery's three locations and enjoy a FREE slice of Jennifer's Birthday Cake on Friday, September 25. "This is a special way for me to celebrate my daughter's birthday while she is away at college," said Brook. "She will be enjoying a cake of her own, shipped to her with lots of love from Mom and Jennifer's Dessert Gallery 'family.'" I must say, this cake is worth the calories. It's three scrumptious layers of dense chocolate cake with fudge filling, chocolate buttercream icing, and a few colorful sprinkles on the outside just for fun. (I am drooling as I write this, it's just soooo good). Dessert Gallery Bakery & Cafe locations are as follows: - 1616 Post Oak Blvd. (77056), 713.622.0007 - 2260 Lone Star Dr. in Sugar Land (77479), 713.797.8000 Remember the free cake is only on Friday and it's only for Jennifers. |
