Last season's Ever wonder where pregnant celebrities get their clothes? Now you won't have to. Because for one day only (Monday December 1), Kick Maternity is giving Houston mamas the chance to check out the hottest maternity line in Tinsel Town.

Yup, that's right. Last season's "Project Runway" winner Christian Siriano has teamed up with Houston designer Marta Abrams to create a fabulous new line of maternity wear called "Fierce Mamas".

THE BIRTH OF FIERCE MAMAS
You won't find any dumpy, tent dresses in this line. I checked it out, and it was so fashionably "fierce" that I was wishing I was pregnant just so I could buy some.

And how it not be be fabulous? Hollywood moms like Laila Ali, Tori Spelling and Jessica Alba are already fans of Marta Abrams and Elise Rosemarin's line which is called Moody Mamas. So now that they've added Siriano's artistic flair, it has basically turned the already hot celebrity line into something sizzling.

"Christian Seriano and I went to fashion school together," said Moody Mamas designer Marta Abrams. "One day we were talking about niche markets and decided we should make a line that makes moms look fabulous."

Based on what I saw, Abrams, Rosemarin and Seriano were able to pull it off. The line is smoking hot. And they got a little bit of everything.

There are great holiday cocktail dresses, cute casual items and stylish business pieces.

REAL FASHION FOR REAL HOUSTON MAMAS
But here's what I really loved about Fierce Mamas: the clothes are designed for the average woman, and not the perfect celebrity body.

Sure celebs like Nicole Ritchie can start their own maternity lines, but they are a size zero who probably got up to a size 10 during their pregnancy. So of course, they are going to look good in their clothes -- but then again, they good in anything.

But what if you're already a size 10 and you've only begun adding on the baby-weight?

"For a girl that starts at a size 10, it's really hard to wear the ready-to-wear stuff that's currently available in the market," said Abrams. "We designed the clothes to look great for the average woman, but still kept the celebrity style."

Fierce Mamas even took into consideration the economy. The line includes work and officewear, because moms are working longer through their term instead of taking time off.

And here's the best part: you won't have to pay designer prices for the celebrity-designed line. The pieces range from $28 to $175.

GET IT NOW...OR YOU'LL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL SPRING
Fierce Mamas is launching in February 2009 in Nordstrom's, but for Houston moms they are bringing a "trunk show" to Kick Maternity on December 1 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.

FM_pg5-crop2.jpg This will be your chance to feel sexy and look "fierce" for the holidays. They will have holiday dresses, daywear and casual wear ready for moms-to-be to buy. But they are also debuting their spring line.

"For the trunk show on Monday, we are giving people 20 percent off any pre-orders or the holiday line," said Abrams.

The spring line isn't ready to buy just yet, but you can pre-order it. You'll also have the chance to meet designer Marta Abrams.

"It's a really fun line that is something just for the moms," said Abrams.
