The cold front has move about 150 miles offshore and opend the door to a north wind at 10-15mph and cooler weather today and for the weekend.

Today will be a transition day as the north wind begins a process of bringing in cooler and drier air. Highs will be in the upper 70's under sunny skies this Friday afternoon.

Saturday and Sunday mornings will be the coolest with lows in the 50's and upper 40's in the northern counties. Highs under sunny skies will only make the mid to lower 70's keeping highs about 8-10 degrees below normal for this time of year.

Perfect weather for the Dynamo game on Sunday and the Texas Renn-Fest all weekend!
