Even if you do not have a YMCA membership, you may go to any open YMCA and charge your cell phone and laptop or take a shower. PETCO, the nation's leading pet specialty retailer, has reopened 16 of its 28 stores that were forced to close temporarily because of Hurricane Ike. The remaining 12 stores, mostly located to the east and south of Houston, are waiting for electrical power restoration to begin clean up and reopening as conditions allow.
