The Montgomery Country Animal Shelter at 8535 Hwy 242 in Conroe is in a TERRIBLE PLIGHT!

They have 120+ dogs and 200+ cats, all rescued in this area from Hurricane Ike, many pure breeds as well as mixes.

The shelter has no power, and the confinement area is wet, totally in the dark with no windows and no air circulation.

The conditions are horrible.

They are desperate for fosters in order to save these animals.

If anyone is willing to foster, please go to the shelter from 8 a.m. to noon.
