Hurricane Ike has caused the delay of the Alley Theatre's upcoming production of Cyrano de Bergerac. During Hurricane Ike and its immediate aftermath, the Alley Theatre and the Alley Theatre Center for Theatre Production were forced to close. Unlike Tropical Storm Allison, the Alley Theatre building experienced only minor damage and did not lose power during the storm. The start date has been pushed back to accommodate the work-time lost by Alley Staff, Artists and Crew as they all dealt with Hurricane Ike and Houston's recovery. The new start date for Cyrano de Bergerac is Wednesday, October 8. |
