The state, county, city and FEMA have met on a daily basis to determine daily POD locations. Areas with water service, electricity and with retail stores open to the public are generally considered to be self-sufficient so that a POD is no longer needed.

The last two Points of Distribution sites are scheduled to close today, Sunday, September 21, 2008.

No other POD locations will be opened.
