The Girl Scout blood drive has been rescheduled for Friday, Oct. 10, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. It will not be held on Sept. 26, as originally communicated. To help replenish the blood supply after Hurricane Ike, the Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council (GSSJC) is hosting a city-wide blood drive for the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center on Friday, Oct. 10, 2008, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at its administrative building, located at 3110 Southwest Freeway. "Our community needs our support now more than ever," said Mary Vitek, CEO of GSSJC. "We are more than happy to open our doors to support the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center and those in need." Please call 713-292-0367 for more information or to sign up.
