Motorists should anticipate heavy traffic and delays near the Sam Houston Race Park, 7575 North Sam Houston Parkway West (Belway 8) Sunday.

The Race Park will be used as a staging area for several hundred trucks that are trying to restore electrical power. Trucks have been exiting and entering the Race Park since 6 a.m. Sunday.

The following areas will be especially clogged:

Fallbrook at Gessner
Gessner at Beltway 8
Fairbanks-North Houston Road at Beltway 8
