I need some help here.

I just don't get "The Hills."

I ... don't ... get ... it.

Every time I see a magazine cover about a cast member, I think a little part of me dies inside. It's gotten to the point that my doctor won't let me walk past a grocery store checkout area, for fear of me expiring altogether.

I mean, seriously. Who gives a rip about these people?

I have a confession to make: I watched the Britney Spears documentary on MTV last night.

And it wasn't like I was just surfing along and happened upon it. I've been waiting for it. I Tivo'd that sucker, for crying out loud.

I told myself that, as a news professional, I was just being a responsible journalist. But the truth is, I totally wanted to check out her oft-comical weave and see if she would, you know, wear pants.

(For those of you who missed it, the extensions are alive and well, and she remained clothed at all times. Yay!)
