Third on the list of female Tinsletown earners is Meryl Street. She netted a healthy sum of $24 million, mostly because of her role in "Mamma Mia!" (and her undisputable awesomeness.)

Sex and the Salary's Sarah Jessica Parker and Cameron Diaz (not sure what she was in this year, but whatever) rounded out the top five.

Instead of rummaging through their purses (which would have been a far more interesting endeavor) Forbes consulted with industry types to estimate what the actresses were paid for their roles.

They also considered product endorsements.

Still, Hollywood is most definitely still a town run by dudes, for dudes. The top-earning actor, Harrison Ford, put Jolie to shame, earning a whopping $65 million in the same time period.

Meh.
