In a week where it seems there are a lot of guys apologizing for one thing or another, we thought it best to address the issue of when and how it is appropriate for a man to say I'm sorry.

It should be noted, that under the Guy's Code, saying, "I'm sorry" has to be handled with the proper protocol. Just like asking for directions or reading the owners' manual, men should resort to saying, "I'm sorry," or apologizing on a very limited basis.

Every guy's dream car is finally a reality

Remember growing up and the types of cars you always wanted to have when you got old enough?

I don't know of one guy who didn't want to have a car that could run underwater.

Well guess what? Somebody made one.

We told you about 94.5 FM The Buzz promotion for Valentine's Day where 25 poor saps lined Westheimer in the Galleria area, wearing numbered T-shirts and carrying signs, in hopes of landing a Lovers' Day date.

Is Andy Pettitte a rat?

It is of little matter if you believe Roger Clemens used steroids/HGH or not.

We will not delve into that debate. But in the midst of all the back and forth between the Rocket and his former trainer Brian McNamee, a serious breach of the Guys Code occurred and must be dealt with.

The Mile of Meat

The drive along Westheimer should be interesting this morning for those in the Galleria area.

Rod Ryan, the morning DJ at 94.5 The Buzz  is sponsoring the Mile of Meat.

Now, at first, I thought Ryan (who by the way has one of the funniest morning shows I ...

Are florists gouging us?

7:12 PM Wed, Feb 13, 2008 |
TJ Aulds

The day before Valentine's Day, and I am getting a lot of complaints from guys about the high cost of ordering flowers. They swear the cost of roses this week is way more than they were say just three months ago.

That would stand to reason, as we all learned in high school economics, there is a cost associated with supply and demand. If demand increases, so does the cost of the item being sought after.

Now, seeing as most guys don't order their Valentine's Day gifts until the day before or day of Valentine...

Make this Valentine's Day mammary-able

1:14 AM Wed, Feb 13, 2008 |
TJ Aulds

There are certain gifts that guys can give on Valentine's Day that benefit not only the giftee, but also the gifter.

Lingerie falls into that category. An 72-inch HDTV plasma TV is another, and to many guys I know preferable -- "Hey, honey imagine how good it'll be to watch Beaches in Hi-Def."

But Dr. Franklin Rose is hawking a couple of gift ideas that won't be found on the shelves at Victoria's Secret or in the electronics department of Best Buy.

For the love of Valentine's Day

5:01 PM Mon, Feb 11, 2008 |
TJ Aulds

Ah, Valentine's Day is almost here. The day we show our true love to our significant other.

Or is it?

When it comes to the Day of Love, we men are -- at best -- lukewarm to the idea of the holiday.

According to the Society of American Florists (and yes there is a society of florists for this country) only 19% of men rank themselves as a seven or higher on a romantic scale of one to 10. And when it comes to Valentine's Day, only a...
