McKamie: "You are not the same person on the stage as you are at home." Victoria: "Yes, I am." McKamie: "Maria Johnson said you were next to her in the galley." Victoria: "Yes." McKamie: "So that part of the story is true." Victoria: "Yes." McKamie continues to question Victoria about the incident. He wants to know if the testimony Maria Johnson gave of the incident is accurate. Here's what Victoria had to say about it: McKamie: "You are telling the jury that did not happen [referring to the testimony of Maria Johnson]." Victoria: "I'm telling the jury, that did not happen." McKamie: "This happened on December 19, 2005. Your husband said that you apologized." Victoria: "Yes, I did." McKamie: "You heard what Maria Johnson said about your apology." Victoria: "I don't remember." McKamie: "Did you tell Ms. Brown, 'I'm sorry for what I did'?" Victoria: "No, sir. I told her, I don't know what is going on here, but if I've done anything wrong, I'm sorry." McKamie: "You were apologizing and you didn't do anything wrong." Victoria: "Yes, sir." McKamie: "I want to talk to you about a copy of the affidavit that you filed in this case." At this point Rusty Hardin, the defense attorney interrupts. Hardin:"May she have a copy of it, your honor?" McKamie: "Please let me know when you have time to read it." Victoria: "Okay." McKamie: "Now, did you ever say that there was liquid in the tray?" Victoria: "Yes." McKamie: "You assumed it was water." Victoria: "Yes, until I was told it could be cleaning fluid or chemical." McKamie: "You have stated that you took the flight attendant's hand and asked her to take a look at the liquid." Victoria: "Yes." McKamie: "You said, in item three, that the second flight attendant indicated that she would be calling the cleaning crew." Victoria: "Yes." McKamie: "My question is... you could have sat in the seat that was not wet." Victoria: "Yes. But I didn't think to do that because I had my boy." McKamie: "But you said that you could control your son just fine." Victoria: "Yes." McKamie: "You say [in the affidavit], 'In response to my question, the third flight attendant became aggravated and flung her hands at me'." Victoria: "Yes." McKamie: "When she flung her hands that way, did she say anything to you?" Victoria: "Yes, she did." Victoria Osteen goes on to talk about Sharon Brown and her actions. Victoria: "She jumped in front of me." McKamie: "Was the cockpit between you and her?" Victoria: "Yes. She jumped over in front of me." McKamie: "So you stepped to the side?" Victoria: "I stepped to the side." McKamie: "At that point, you asked the second flight attendant where you should stand?" Victoria: "Yes, I did." McKamie: "You didn't report this to Continental management?" Victoria: "No." McKamie: "You say you were in shock?" Victoria: "Yes, sir. I was alarmed." McKamie: "You said you were dumb-founded because of the accusations." Victoria continued to say that she was falsely accused. Crying, Victoria says that "nothing" has escalated into something and she was shaken up at that time. Later she was asked to read the release she posted on her website and broke down crying again. 1 CommentsLeave a comment |
