Barbara Shedden was on the December 19, 2005 flight.
.... She was called to the stand by Reginald McKamie.

Barbara Shedden = B
Reginald McKamie = M

M: What did you see Victoria Osteen do?

B: She got up and said that she needed some help.

M: Where was Ms. Osteen?

B: She was by the cockpit area.

M: Could you hear her say 'could you please give my area some attention'? Was she upset?

B: She was loud.

M: Could you see her point her finger.

B: Yes

M: What did she say?

B: I would like to someone like a supervisor to help me. She was trying to be assertive. She was being confrontational to get her needs met.

M: How confrontational?

B: Flight attendants were telling her ' please take your seat.'

M: Did you see her push Sharon Brown?

B: I just saw her point her finger at Ms. Brown and say that she was going to get authority.

M:How would you describe what happened?

B: A power of the wills. Just very authoritive on both parts.

M: Were the flight attendants professional?

B: Yes

M: Were they courteous ?

B: I just think they were busy.

CROSS EXAMINATION

Rusty Hardin = R

R: Would you agree with me that you never saw any type of assault?

B: That's right

R: You never saw Ms. Osteen grab and hit Ms. Brown?

B: That's right

R: You saw Ms. Osteen point her finger.

B: Yes.

R: She was pointing at the chest of Ms. Brown.

B: Yes

R: Did you see Ms. Osteen grab and hit Ms. Brown. Would you have seen it from your seat?

B: No. There is no way.

R: The FBI contacted you?

B: Yes

R: You told the FBI that there was no assault.

B: Right

Ia this blog wrong, or does someone not understand English? Above, the response to Hardin's question: "..would you have seen it from your seat" is "No." But the headline on the first page of the website says that the witness says she would have seen it if it happened......

Read the questions again...

R: Did you see Ms. Osteen grab and hit Ms. Brown. Would you have seen it from your seat?

Perhaps the witness was answering the "did you see" portion of the question and not the "would you have seen" part of the question.

I see the same thing on every blog and discussion board I visit. People pay attention to one little portion and that is all they see. Read the entire thing, then go back and read it again. Selective reading will get you the same results as selective hearing and selective memory.

This is a case about money and greed....
It needs to be thrown out!

Psst. Hey, you, taxpayer. You're paying the judge, court reporter, jurors, bailiff and other government personnel in this stupid case so a lazy flight attendant can try to steal money from rich people who were mean to her while she was at work (Awwww, poor wittle baby!). Sucker!!!!!

Well I'm torn. I see that from the flight attendant's view, she could be aimming for the big pyoff. The idea of her hind quarters and religious problems are a joke.

But I can and have seen people like the Olsteen's who have believed their own headlines. If she did push, shove or hit - yes cotinue. If she tried to enter the cockpit, yes continue.

The one fly in the oinment for me is why did they pay the$3,000.00 fine if s was innocent.

I don't have selective reading. She already answered the question twice that she never saw the assault. If she is not answering 'No' to the question posed, then that question is not answered - and there is no evedence entered that she she was in a position to see around Osteen's back.
