Osteen Trial: Stand or Grill?

The defense grilled Sharon Brown for hours.

Osteen attorney, Rusty Hardin, questioned Continental flight attendant, Sharon Brown for the majority of the day today. One of his major points was "perception," and how that played a role in the VERY different stories we've heard from the stand. He was trying to show that Sharon Brown's perception of what happened during the scheduled December 19, 2005 flight was wrong.

While Sharon Brown has said all along that an apology from Victoria Osteen would have kept this whole thing out of court, Hardin tried to prove that Brown wanted to sue the Osteens from the get go.

At times everyone in the courtroom breaks out in laughter about the peculiarities of the case, but there was a very tense moment late in the day. Osteen attorney, Rusty Hardin asked Victoria Osteen and Sharon Brown to stand side by side before the jury. I could tell both Osteen and Brown were very uncomfortable standing next to each other and everyone in the courtroom seemed to stop breathing for that brief moment.

With that highlight... trial wrapped up for the day at about 5 pm.

Where are the line by line comments between Hardin and Brown like you had for Brown and her lawyer? Looks like biased coverage to me.

No kidding! I've been reading the posts on KHOU since the trial began. I don't remember the defense attorney being cited as "grilling" anyone. In addition, if there were HOURS of grilling by Hardin why don't you post some of what was said?

You should be ashamed of yourself.
