My day was lovely until the clock struck noon.....
Then everything turned upside down.
The kids would not leave each other alone and my oldest was very upset with me because she said that I did not see her do a back flip, dive and float at a pool party yesterday.
Although, I repeatedly told her that I saw her do these things... she insisted that I did not. A six year old with her mind made up! What was I to do?

UPDATE:
Well the Ban Saw did not work how DH wanted. The blade did not cut straight. He took this one back and bought one from Harbor Freight. The difference in cost was only $20 cheaper than the fist one. DH says that this new one works great and he is happy with it. Now, he wants a bigger blade. I'll say! If it was not Father's Day, I would have to give him a hard time about all of this. LOL!
Today, we went to Home Depot to get the Father's Day gifts that my DH had picked out.

I just love when an unexpected deal makes my day!
The kids and I were shopping for homemade cleaning ingredients at Fiesta in Katy.
They were very good and cooperative the whole shopping trip, so when they wanted to go into the small shop at the front of the store, I was not going to protest.
It has accessories and cute little dresses.
My oldest went behind a curtain and came out with a couple of dresses for my youngest little girl.
They were very cute and the shop worker said that they were $2.00 each plus tax.

This is a recipe that I have done for over 15 years. It originated when I was making fried chicken and I did not have the breading that I wanted. The chips were actually left over from a weekend get together and I was about to throw them away. I decided to take a chance, crush them up and use them as the breading.
