No date yet for Gulf Shores Academy closing

The Texas Education Agency said Monday that no date has yet been set for closing Gulf Shores Academy.

The TEA ordered the Houston charter school closed because of allegations it falsified student attendance records and misspent state money.

About 1,000 students attend the school.
