HP data center could bring 140 new jobs to city
Hewlett Packard is bringing a new data center complex to Northwest Houston that should bring at least 140 more jobs to the city.
The county granted the company tax incentives of more than $4 million on the property on Cutten Road, near its Louetta campus.
But Hewlett Packard could be forced to pay the taxes if it ends up creating fewer jobs than expected.
