Car hits fire hydrant, breaks it off
An unknown car hit a fire hydrant late Monday night, breaking it off and flooding one lane of Wayside.
It happened around 10:30 p.m. on Wayside and Avenue B.
The water main below it broke, causing ground water to spew up and flooded a lane of traffic.
