U.S. attorney general honored in his hometown
Houston native and U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales was honored Saturday night in his hometown.
Leadership Houston gave Gonzales the distinguished leadership award.
It happened during its black tie silver anniversary gala at the InterContinental Houston Hotel.
The award is given out each year to an acknowledged leader in his or her field.
The attorney general is a Leadership Houston class graduate and was board chairman.
