Slade awaits appeals hearing date
TSU embattled president, Priscilla Slade may find out Friday when a hearing to appeal her firing will be held.
The Texas Southern University board of regents is expected to tell embattled president Priscilla Slade when they will hold her appeals hearing. Slade is appealing her firing.
An investigation by the board found she spent $650,000 of university money on things not allowed by her contract.
Slade insists she did nothing wrong and has filed a lawsuit.
The investigation against her was first launched over money spent on her house near Memorial Park.
That home in now on the market, according to the Houston Chronicle.
Slade also faces a criminal investigation.
