Rain building on freeways, slowing drivers
Wednesday morning's rainfall, as expected, was causing serious delays on Houston's freeways.
Lights were out on the feeder road of Interstate 10 at Silber, and there was ponding on the roads in low-lying areas.
High water was reported in the following areas: the eastbound North Loop at Clinton, Baytown East Freeway at Lockwood, and the Gulf Freeway at the South Loop.
