Mike Ramsey returns to Ken Lay's defense

After five weeks Ken Lay's lead attorney is back in court. Mike Ramsey returned to Houston's federal courthouse Monday morning. 11News Photojournalist Lynn Roder, who spoke with Ramsey, said he appears to have lost weight but had his color back.

Ramsey explained procedures he had gone through and said he would not take lead counsel. Instead, Ramsey said he would sit back and let the jury get used to looking at his face again.

The 65-year-old prominent defense attorney said he is on blood thinners and other medication.

It's uncertain what role Ramsey will play the remainder of his trial.
