Fire damages tortilla factory in the Heights
The quick work of Houston firefighters stopped a fire from destroying a tortilla factory early Friday.
It happened at the La Espiga De Oro Tortilla Factory at 1202 West !5th St.
The blaze broke out around 6:30 a.m. when a conveyor belt froze up on a large oven.
Fire crews had the fire out in about half an hour.
No one was hurt.
