City Council approves museum plan

The Houston City Council approved a plan that will renovate Hermann Park and the Museum of Natural Science.

Instead of a dollar a year in rent, the museum pay $1 million a year for the next five years to the Hermann Park Conservancy.
That $5 million in rent money coming from the museum will be spent on renovations in Hermann Park.
One of the changes will be moving the rail line of the children's train to be closer to the light rail.
Also Wednesday, the City Council delayed taking action on the airport shuttle plan.
