Gasoline leaks into stream in Magnolia
Early Friday morning, gasoline was leaking out of storage tanks at a gas station near the Ranch Crest subdivision in Magnolia.
The gas was leaking underground and making its way into ditches and a stream nearby.
Greg Chelettte, with the Magnolia Fire Department said that it happened at about 4:15 a.m.
"There was a strong odor. We're just standing by and letting TCEQ and Milstead Environmental take care of it," Chelette said.
