Man dies trying to cross South Loop
A man is dead after he tried to cross the South Loop in southeast Houston.
It happened Tuesday night around 8:40 on Loop 610 near Wayside.
The man had already run across the four eastbound lanes when he tried making it across the westbound lanes.
The driver of the Honda Accord that hit him said she simply couldn't stop in time.
