Fort Bend officials looking for car thieves

At approximately 5:36 p.m. Tuesday, Fort Bend County Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 7900 block of Vincik Ehlert Road.

According to investigators, the 50-year-old victim was driving when he observed a van in the ditch.
The victim stopped to see if the young males needed assistance.
One of the young males allegedly displayed a weapon on his waistband and demanded the victim's car.
Deputies said a second suspect then took off with the victims Gray 2005 Toyota 4-Runner.
It appears there may have been a second suspect vehicle, described as a black Jeep SUV that followed behind them.
Investigators said that as the suspects were leaving the area, a witness and friend of the victim, drove up and they attempted to follow the suspects, but were unsuccessful.
The suspects left the van behind, which was later transported to the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office and processed by investigators.
The victim could only describe the suspects as young Hispanic males. One Hispanic male was wearing a blue shirt and a second Hispanic male was wearing a white shirt.
