City says "Don't worry, don't hurry" to evacuees

Councilmember Michael Berry said the city would like to get evacuees not to return to the city immediately after Hurricane Rita. There will not have been enough time for retail services, such as gas stations and grocery stores, to restock their supplies. He asks that evacuees remain an extra day or so.

Berry also said that they need time to get people in shelters back into their homes.
