The Texans are 5 and 5, right in the middle of the playoff hunt.
They are looking to go over the 500 mark vs the Browns this week and
you can expect Ron Dayne to play a huge role if they can win.
Eventhough the Cleveland offense has been clicking , the defense leaves
much to be desired. The Browns are ranked 28th against the run.
Right now the "Great Dayne" is hot, rushing for 211 yards and a touchdown
in his last 2 games .

If you own Vikings star rookie Adrian Peterson, I hope you saved a spot on your roster for Chester Taylor. A.P. is out this week with a knee injury, so Taylor should be able to put up some nice numbers vs Oakland's 29th ranked defense.
I also thought I would win the lottery , and a lot of people said Tom Cruise would crack the top 3 with his new movie "Lions for Lambs" and we all know how that turned out.
But the Raiders have been so pathetic against the run it shouldn't matter if its Peterson or Taylor is carring the mail. Plus, don't forget last season Chester ran for more than 1200 yards.<...

Home is where the heart is , but Holmes is where the Browns
will be this Saturday. Santonio Holmes is coming off a monster
game vs the Ravens on Monday night.
He caught 2 of Ben Roethlisberger's 5 touchdown passes in
the rain in Pittsburgh.
This week he's facing the Browns, who sport the worst
passing defense in the league.

Back in the 70's the movie "The Exorcist" scared us all into
finding religion. The Priest in the movie was trying to cast out a demon.
Well, after Larry Johnson went down with a foot injury the Chiefs were calling for a Priest .
Priest Holmes that is . Not to cast out demons, but to score some touchdowns.
Its been 2 years since Holmes started an N.F.L. game , but it appears he'll be
back in the saddle this weekend .

Texans running back Adimchinobe Echimandu could be a suprise
in week 9 vs the Raiders , if Ahman Green is a no go again .
Echimandu, who sometimes goes by his middle name Joe, rushed
for 62 yards on 10 carries vs the Chargers last week.
The only hiccup is he's recovering from a thigh injury and
practiced on a limited basis on Wednesday .
Ahman Green was suppose to practice on Thursday so keep an
eye on the situation.
