First of all, you should never hope for a key player to suffer an injury .
With that said , when injuries happen and they will, you have to react quickly .
Don't hesitate to pickup a backup player stepping in for an injuried star.
You are looking for players who will get the most playing time ,
which hopefully will lead to more touches. Its a long season and you can
get a lot of mileage out of a quality backup . Lets take a look at some of the
second tier guys who will be in the spotlight during week 4.

We've all heard the old saying , "one man's trash is another man's
treasure". Well, the same concept can be applied to the fantasy wavier wire.
Be on the lookout for owners giving up on quality players too soon.
In Fantasy Football , timing is everything . Just because a quality
player gets off to a slow start, it doesn't mean he will finish that way.
You should be open to taking a gamble with your reserves , afterall
what do you really have to lose. Find the diamond in the rough.

If you made Reggie Bush the 9th overall pick in your draft like
I did , then you're stuck also.
There's a certain irony in the fact that 2 weeks into the season
Mario Williams has more touchdowns than Bush.
But the tide could be turning soon. The Saints are in a put up or
packup situation vs the Titans on Monday night.
If they lose they go to 0-and 3 and season could be over .
So look for a big effort from the Saints and Reggie.

Remember Edgerrin James ? The former Indianapolis Colts star
who signed with the Cardinals and was never heard from again.
Well, he's back !
There's been an Edge sighting in the "valley of the sun", as the Cardinals
have come up with a running game. Yes, the pass happy red birds are now
grinding out the yards on the ground and James is running like Jessie James with
a posse close by

When you consider how bad the Saints defense has
been, Vince Young should be prime for a big fantasy outing
when the Titans travel to New Orleans in week 3.
Last week while keeping the Titans competitive vs
the Colts Young passed for 184 yards and a touchdown.
He should really be able to pad those stats vs a Saints
defense that's ranked 26th in the N.F.L.

They say what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas . Well , the Saints are hoping
what happened in Indianapolis stays in Indy.
Last week they were totally embrassed by the Colts. So look for the team
to rebound this week, and that means there should be a Reggie Bush
sighting . Bush only made a cameo on the stat sheet vs the Colts rushing
for 38 yards on 12 carries . Last year he did not do well vs the bucs , but
I'm betting everyone on this team has a lot to prove.

As far as running backs go ,"Fast Willie" Parker is a must
start when the Steelers face the Browns . Cleveland has made some improvements
on defense but not enough. If Parker's track record vs the Browns is
any indication he should be prime for a big outing.
In just 3 starts vs Cleveland , Parker has 399 yards rushing and
4 touchdowns. And there is no reason to think the Browns will
catch "Fast Willie" this time.

If you look at this game on paper, It appears to be a matchup
made in Fantasy Football heaven. If you think Miss South Carolina
had trouble explaining why some Americans can't find the U.S.
on a world map, wait until you see the Saints try to stop Peyton
and the Boys from flying the friendly skies .
Marvin Harrison hauled in 12 touchdowns last season while
Reggie Wayne caught 9. Wayne is from New Orleans and loves
to play the Saints so he'll be pumped .
