The great thing about fantasy football is that not two
season are excatly the same. If you rode Mr. M.V.P. Shaun
Alexander to the Super Bowl last year , his broken bone
in his foot may have sideline your championship hopes this year.
That's the beauty of it , you have to decide which players
are ready to become stars and which ones are losing a step.
Lets start with this year's diamonds in the rough.

If you're not strong at quarterback,roll the dice and
take a chance on two signal callers making their first
starts of the year.
On Thursday night , all eyes will be on Brett Farve wondering
if this will be his last game at Lambeau Field.
But if this is Brett's going away party , young Tarvaris Jackson
of the Vikings could spoil it for him .

I play in a 16 team league here at KHOU. Its a lot of fun because
you play against your colleagues. What you're really playing
for is bragging rights. I mean, do I really want to hear Jeremy Desel,
Mark Greenblatt , or Jeremy Rogalski trash talking me to death.
There is so much grief being dished out , we even have a team called the "Trashtalkers", and trust me they live up to that name.
However, dispite all the peer pressure my team the Saints,
is back in the Super Bowl for the 3rd consective year.

The Texans are looking to rebound from a very taxing ordeal
vs the the Titans and Vince Young.
So is Wesley Snipes , but it won't be any easy task for either one
to do .
You see the Texans are on the road facing the Patriots one week
after New England was shotout and embrassed by Miami.
Expect Patriots quarterback Tom Brady to be the leading man in this drama.

When the 2006 season started the Saints couldn't even
dream about the super bowl. In fact the playoffs weren't even
on their radar . But thanks in no small part to quarterback
Drew Brees, the loveable losers have learned how to win.
Hey, if Taylor Hicks can win American Idol , why can't the Saints
win to the super bowl ?

I can already imagine the number 10 jerseys
packing into Reliant Stadium. V.Y. is coming home .
It will be his first game in Houston vs the hometown Texans
and he won't disappoint his many fans .
Vince Young is already starting to figure out the N.F.L. .
Over the last 2 weeks he's lead comeback wins against
the Giants and the Colts.
Against Indianapolis he passed for 163 yards and 2 touchdowns,
while rushing for 78 more .
