Which witch is which?
She's a kind and wonderful Houston witch I did a story on 4 years ago... now I hear...
she's in the hospital fighting for her life.
So if you can... say a prayer for Cathy McNulty's speedy recovery... and enjoy this look back.

Thank you so much. There will be many people all over the state of Texas and the US that will get to see this. You are the best! As an update on Cathy's condition she is getting better and stronger though she is still in ICU and on a resperator. They are going to start weening her off the resparator today.

It is not Kathy McNulty who is ill, as far as I know. It is Kathy Kern, another friend, who is in the hospital.

Carolyn,
I think you're misktaken.
Here's a quote from a comment I got on my blog from March 6th 2007:
"I have been looking through your videos for 2004. You did an interview with my very good friend Cathy McNaulty "The Witch" . I was a bit disappointed that the clip was cut short. I would love to see the clip in its entirety. For you see our dear friend is in the hospital right now fighting for her life. It would do those of us praying for her a heart of good to see the Cathy that we know and love on that video. I told her she was on the internet with that video and she raised a surprised eyebrow. She is on a resperator and unable to speak. Thank you so much for posting as much as you have already."

Yes, Cathy McNulty is indeed in the hospital as well as our other with friend Kathy Kern.
May they both have a speedy recovery!
Loved the interview both the first and second times round!

Actually, it is both. Kathy Kern and Cathy McNulty are BOTH in the hospital, and the community has been sending energy, prayers and workings to both of them since we found out.
Kathy is the sister of Clara Kern, well known personality on KPFT 90.1 FM. Cathy (or Cat) is a longtime member of The Council of Magickal Arts (CMA), a 501c(3) org based here in Texas.

I remember when this first aired and thinking yeah Cat you go. She is one of the true pillars in the Pagan community and has opened many doors for this community. As like everyone else within this large community there is continued love and healing energy sent.
Johnathan THANK YOU very much for reposting this video and taking the extra step of showing your support.
Blessed be

Johnathan, thank-you so much for re-sharing that clip at such a time of need. Cat's been in the hospital for over two weeks now and we are just beginning to see a move toward healing for her. It's been just under a week that we found out that she was in, given confusion about her move back to Texas. Her mother has been sitting vigil at her bedside every day, holding on to her and talking to her. I'm going to take my computer up to the hospital again on Friday and share your spot with her so she can see it. We will make sure she has a copy of it as well.
Seeing her walking in that circle I've worked magick with her so many times, seeing her smile and hearing her voice so strong has touched my heart as well as many other who have known and loved her over these past years.
Thank you and blessings for you

Thanks for reposting this! Cat McNulty just recently came back to Texas and I'm thinking she was called home so she'd be among her extended Pagan family for this. She needs all the prayers and energy she can get.
I do hope you'll continue to come visit all of us at Pagan Pride Day and Houston Witches Ball. I've worked with both events donating volunteer time or art for fund raising and/or performing for a long time (Pagan Pride Day since the very first one in Memorial Park). They're great events and PPD is especially a good way for people to come and get to know what we're about.

I owe you an apology for doubting your views on the interview with Cat. I have watched you for many hours of TV and have come to respect you as a very decent fellow and a great human being. you are an asset to our community. Keep it up. Cat is a lovely woman with her heart here in our pagan community. We love her and can't wait for her face to show up at pagan pride day this year 2007. Kudos for everything you've done.

Johnathan,
It is with great pleasure that I write to let you know as of yesterday, our dear Cat is doing much better. She still needs energy as we try to get her lungs breathing on their own.
It is refreshing the way you reported your story on Cat. Her gift to this community is note worthy.
We in Houston, and all of Texas, are glad to have Cat come back to us.
Lead to Gold!

Jonathon,
Thank you once again. I recieved the DVD in the mail today. I pluged it in and watched it right away. There is also a piece with Paul Primason. Another friend. We are so happy to see Cathy's spirit lifted with everyone's show of love. Each time I told her the video was on the internet I got this surprised lifted eyebrow. She still has a long recovery road. But we will all be there for her.
