Hiya Bobby and JW! Been far too long since I've been around.
Sure looks like a test video - those retaining walls run parallel to the highway, NOT across them, and you'd have to be pretty drunk, stupid, or both to drive full tilt into one. Or a TXDOT employee! Har-de-har-har!
I had a co-worker many years ago that died when she lost control of her car and slammed into one...they do indeed work. Notice this is a full-size monster of a construction vehicle...small cars and these things DO make a mess. Used to be a medic, and got many calls like this over the years. Unfortunately.

Where did Lisa Foranda go? Is she still in broadcasting and if so where? Station made a big mistake letting her go. She was great!
