A BIG THANK YOU to all who had a part in helping save the remaining cave dogs! It brings tears to my eyes thinking about all those furbabies that suffered before. But at least the cave has been filled in now - and I pray that another will not take its place!! A BIG THANK YOU to all still involved in helping rid the world of mans inhumanity to all living creatures!!

I am so happy Dr. Roba received this award and I am so honored to be a part of a large team of people involved in helping these wonderful dogs. I am pleased to help them in their training and care for them daily while staying at the Pet Palace. All are blessed to work with such wonderful people and we all are blessed to be in these four dogs presence. Please support the efforts and help raise money, support all the organizations involved in caring for the dogs and purchase the song by Maria Daines, "One small dog". Congratulations to Dr. Roba for a remarkable achievement for the animals of Ethiopia. The cave dogs rescue was a fantastic and heartwarming event in 2007 and best wishes to everyone involved, The Amsale Gessesse Memorial Foundation, the HAPS team and the dedicated staff of Pet Palace. You've really made a difference!!

We all need to donate to HAPS in Ethiopia, to help Dr. Roba raise money to help save more dogs from disease/starvation/death and suffering!
They have a great website, where we can send something today. We all can make a difference, even for one animal!

I read this story when it first happend. I think it is wonderful that Dr. Roba helped those poor babies who were left for dead and that hole is now sealed. Thank you Dr. Roba for helping those babies make it to the U.S. to have an opportunity to be loved in a forever home! And thank you for donating money to help spay and neuter the animals still there. That is a great start in helping to control the over population of animals there. Great job!
