Louisiana state Representative Clo Fontenot is still pushing through with his Pet Evacuation Bill, and the Louisiana SPCA is calling for pet owners affected by the hurricane to testify before the legislature (directions here) in Baton Rouge. The committee hearing for SB 607 (read about it here) is scheduled for April 18th, roughly around nine in the morning.
