While in Gonzales La, Sarah and I saw Ruty as she came into the Lamar Dixon expo for temporary shelter.Ruty looked as happy as a pig in a poke, or in this case a pig in a pet carrier. We had a good chuckle over the sight of this pretty baby contentedly sitting in her pet carrier. Thanks, Amber Stubbs-Aydell, Second Chance Pets

I was so excited to read the report on Ruty the pig. The first paragraph gave me some... hope for the stranded animals locked in houses. I wish and believe there could have been more than three boats dispatched from the agency. - Thanks, Lisa for the wonderful reporting!
