BARC shelter management has put out the word that BARC is full and in order to make space for the newcomers, sole old-timers have to go. That means all the dogs and cats featured in this week's BARC STARZ alert are in danger of being euthanized if they are not adopted or rescued.
The good news is to help facilitate more adoption, these dogs and cats are all offered at half the normal adoption fee of $55. So, $27.50 gets you any one as one of this week's BARC STARZ -- fully vetted, spayed or neutered and microchipped! This just breaks my heart...especially since I'm at my capacity and can't help. I hope and pray that the great people of Houston and the surrounding areas step up like they have in the past and give these precious furbabies a second chance. "Second chance kisses" are the best and you won't regret it. Even if you can't adopt right now, maybe you can give one of these deserving animals a temp. home as a foster. And everyone PLEASE spay and neuter your pets...Save a life!
