MANDY
Morning, just another day...
Happy people pass my way...
Looking in their eyes I see a memory...
I never realized how happy you made me...Oh Mandy...
This dog probably isn't what Barry had in mind when writing those legendary lyrics. In fact, given her high energy level this MANDY is a lot more Rock'n'Roll than Easy Listening. This MANDY is a one-year-old Catahoula Leopard that loves to run and play. She may be already housebroken and seems to know basic commands like Sit. MANDY loves to be around people and seems okay with other dogs. She's a lean 40 pounds, already spayed and heartworm negative. Come on all you "Fanilows": Show your love and adopt MANDY! Look for MANDY at BARC in South B Ward, I.D. A0988067.

MICKY
Oh Micky, you're so fine...
You're so fine you blow my mind..
Hey Micky, hey Micky..

True to the lyrics, this is one fine looking dog! MICKY is a Pharoah Hound, a very noble and intelligent breed. They bond strongly with their masters but can be shy with strangers. MICKY loves to be hugged and petted but he is a little timid until he gets to know you. MICKY would do best in a home with a big yard where he can stretch his legs. He's a very lean 50 pounds and definitely needs some fattening up. This fine looking fellow is about a year-and-a-half old, already neutered and possibly housebroken. He will eagerly sit for cookies. The picture doesn't do him justice; Come see MICKY and let him blow your mind! Look for MICKY at BARC in South A Ward, I.D. A0986887.

JAZZ
Come on, Babe...
Why don't we paint the town?
And All That Jazz!
Here's a dog that will give you plenty of hot nights! JAZZ is a fun and playful Lab mix who could play Fetch 'til the cows come home. He's a young guy of just a year old who also knows how to play the Lover Boy. He'll curl right up in your lap if you let him. JAZZ is a medium sized dog so he'd probably be a great companion for the kids and he seems to be okay with other dogs. He's neutered and microchipped and low heartworm positive. The heartworms can be knocked out easily so don't let that stop you from adopting this fun dog--And All That Jazz! Look for JAZZ at BARC in South A Ward, I.D. A0986300.

BERNADETTE
Bernadette, people are searchin' for
the kind of love that we possess.
Some go on searchin' their whole life through
and never find the love I've found in you.
Talk about love--You've got to meet BERNADETTE! This adorable Pit Bull mix is so sweet you'll never find another love like hers. She's very gentle and mild-mannered, just like a lady. She loves giving kisses and having her tummy rubbed. BERNADETTE is two-years old and a svelte 45 pounds. She could use a few extra treats! BERNADETTE is low heartworm positive, a condition that can easily be reversed with regular doses of heartworm preventative. She's spayed and microchipped. Don't let this good love slip away! Look for BERNADETTE at BARC in South D Ward, I.D. A0987002.

LOLA
Whatever Lola wants...
Lola gets...
And little man, little Lola wants you.
LOLA also wants a good home with a warm, safe place to sleep, a clean litter box and fresh food to eat, one of those carpeted scratchy-poles and lots of toys, a sunny window sill to stretch out on, plenty of attention, lots of pets and scratches, and maybe another kitty or two to keep her company. That's not to much to ask, is it? LOLA is a sweet baby girl Calico of just 10 months and she's just cute enough to get whatever she wants.
Look for LOLA at BARC, I.D. A0991654.

PLOPPER
Okay. I give up. PLOPPER? Really? What would one have to do to earn the name PLOPPER? (I'm not sure I want to know.) I'm not usually one to press the issue, but when you adopt this cat please change his name! Poor guy is 3 years old and was dumped by his owner at BARC. Hasn't he been through enough? Look for PLOPPER at BARC, I.D. A0991072.

DOGS IN FOSTER CARE AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION

BINGLE
Meet BINGLE: 50 full grown pounds of happy Border Collie mix. He was found napping on the grass near -- where else? -- Bingle and Kempwood! He has had all his shots and will be neutered by the time you read this. BINGLE has been at Mike's house since Friday and other than eating Mike's loaf of bread last night (no breakfast for Mike this morning!), BINGLE has had no accidents. He's fine with cats and dogs, likes outside, doesn't dig or jump, and has a funny folded right ear. Somebody's gonna be glad they adopted BINGLE! If you are interested in BINGLE contact Mike at mikek@iapc.net.

PEACHES
PEACHES is a little one year old Basenji mix--not very big, probably about 23 pounds. She has one kind of floppy ear that when she's all grown up will stand straight up like the other one. In her short life things have been kind of tough. PEACHES wound up at BARC where she didn't have anyone to look out for her. It was kind of scary but PEACHES is a positive girl and it didn't get her down. A really nice volunteer at BARC noticed PEACHES and has taught her to sit and walk nicely on the leash. She uses "clicker" training and treats. She is also brings PEACHES to Rover Oaks for more one on one training with the awesome trainers there. PEACHES loves people and is an excellent student, but more than anything PEACHES wants a home and a family of her own. PEACHES is a really good girl and gets along really well with all the other foster dogs n the house. She is also house trained and crate trained, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Please give PEACHES the Forever Home she wants so desperately! If you are interested in PEACHES contact Bonnie at ford.bonnie@gmail.com.

PRINCESS
A silly snuggle-bug, PRINCESS (I.D. A0987806) is the proverbial "goof looking for her ball." This Shepherd mix has a fluffy black coat with brown markings and looks like a little bear. She's always happy and looks like she's smiling with her tongue out and her ears up. PRINCESS loves to run and play and she's great with kids. She likes other dogs, too. PRINCESS was dumped at BARC by her previous owner so she's already housebroken. PRINCESS is about 45 pounds and nearly a year old. She's spayed and microchipped, and heartworm negative. If you're looking for a fun and funny playful dog for the family, PRINCESS is your girl! Look for PRINCESS at HIGHLAND VILLAGE this weekend, or email Bonnie Ford at ford.bonnie@gmail.com.

SADE
Toy crazy and super silly, SADE (I.D. A0984846) loves to play! She goes and goes and goes just like the Energizer Bunny. SADE is a great dog for kids and she's fine with other dogs and cats. She won't get too big--maybe 35-40 pounds at the most--and she has the most adorable face: Two black circles around her bright eyes and a spotted nose! SADE is a former foster dog so she knows how to be a good girl in the house and do her business outside. She's easy to walk and very lovable. SADE is almost a year old, spayed and microchipped, and heartworm negative. If you'd like a fun family dog that's sure to keep you laughing, SADE is your girl! Look for SADE at BARC at HIGHLAND VILLAGE this weekend, or email Bonnie Ford at ford.bonnie@gmail.com.
