Visit Cocker Spaniel Rescue of East Texas-Houston at TWO adoption locations this Saturday!
Saturday, March 14, 2009 PetSmart Sawyer, pictured above, is a 1 year old male who came in with his sister, Kate. This pair came into Rescue after being tossed out of a car on an lonely road in south Houston. They were very malnourished and after going on a diet of high quality food they've got their strenght back up. They were also missing a lot of hair. These babies came in feeling like Ugly Ducklings but they are transforming into "beautiful swans". Sister Kate has found a forever home, but Saywer is still looking for his new family. Sawyer is just one of the many beautiful Cocker Spaniel Kids who have been saved by Cocker Spaniel Rescue of East Texas - Houston. Cocker Spaniel Rescue is classified by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) organization. They do not operate a shelter and have no paid staff. They are a network of foster homes which provide love, shelter, transportation, grooming and food. Funds collected by CSR are used primarily for veterinary care, medication, and boarding.
