Hello BARC STARZ Readers. We are sharing the stories of a few BARC STARZ dogs that we featured last week and one new BARC STARZ dog this week, Sienna.
SIENNA (A0975015) has been waiting for someone to come and save her for three long months. Imagine three months in a dirty, wet kennel at BARC... It ain't fun! Yet SIENNA maintains a sunny spirit and is always happy to make new friends. SIENNA is a Staffordshire mix of one year old and about 45 lean pounds. She could stand to gain a little weight but she won't grow much taller. Like most Staffies, SIENNA is affectionate, energetic and loyal. She's good with other dogs and likes to run and play. SIENNA is also heartworm negative, spayed, microchipped and ready to get out of BARC. Please come and rescue SIENNA before another day passes! Chip, a BARZ STARZ dog from last week. He was adopted last weekend at the Highland Village adoption center. But, Buddy, Rita, Tyler, Junebug, Jimmy and Bettie, all BARC STARZ, are still available. Click here for their pictures and stories! The adoption fee is only $55 for the dogs and includes: surgery for spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming, microchipping and 1 year city license. What a deal for a lifelong friend!! You can go to the address below to find these dogs (and many others!): BARC (Bureau of Animal Regulation and Care) You can see more photos by checking any of these websites: www.petharbor.com (enter Houston and click on Bureau of Animal Regulation and Care) www.houstontx.gov/health/BARC/index.html www.petfinder.com (search under Texas and Bureau of Animal Regulation and Care and ALSO Friends of BARC) Email us with any questions (volunteersmb@friendsofbarc.org).
