The Rasor home was ravaged by Hurricane Ike. The family recently sold their damaged trailer and had it moved off the property. As if the loss of their home weren't bad enough, the family was suddenly facing another tragedy. Shadow, the family's three-year old black cat was missing. They searched and searched but couldn't find anyone who had seen their beloved kitty. He had simply vanished. Two weeks later, the phone rang. It was the gentleman who bought the trailer. He found a black cat living under the trailer and wondered if it was their pet! It appeared that Shadow had traveled more than 70 miles clinging to the belly of the trailer. The family immediately jumped in the car and headed for Trinity. Their prayers were answered. It was Shadow!! Ten-year-old Alexis said, "We are so excited and happy that he's home. He's like family!" Mrs. Rasor reports that Shadow won't let her son, 13-year old Griffin, out of his sight. Despite being displaced by Hurricane Ike, the Rasor family is thankful they are all alive and together again. "We truly believe that Shadow's homecoming is Christmas miracle!"
