Neiman Marcus Galleria and the Houston SPCA celebrate 19 years of life-saving holiday pet adoptions! The Houston SPCA and Neiman Marcus Galleria continue a holiday tradition as they join together to save the lives of Houston's homeless pets. Playful puppies, kittens, cool cats and canines will adorn the windows of Neiman Marcus Galleria as they wait to be adopted into loving, permanent homes. The unveiling of this year's holiday adoption extravaganza will take place on Friday, November 28, at 9:00 am in the mall windows on the first floor of Neiman Marcus Galleria at 2600 Post Oak. This year, the windows are decorated with paintings created and donated by the students from the Art Institute of Houston. Pet adoptions will take place beginning Friday, November 28th through Tuesday, December 23rd. After the kick off on Friday, the hours for this year's holiday adoption event are Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 6pm and on Sunday's from Noon to 6pm. On Sunday December 14th and December 21st, the event will expand adoption hours to open at 11am. The cost to adopt will range from $65.00 to $95.00 and includes, a health evaluation, initial vaccinations, rabies vaccinations for animals three months and older, spay / neuter surgery, deworming, heartworm testing for dogs six months and older, feline leukemia testing for cats, microchipping with free lifetime registration and of course a friend for life!
