Hollywood Frame Gallery and artist Jim Tweedy are fighting the money-losing blues with "In Goldens We Trust," their second annual Golden Beginnings Golden Retriever Rescue (GBGRR) benefit that will take place Saturday, November 8, from 6-9pm at the Gallery at 2427 Bissonnet.

"In Goldens We Trust" is for people who are tired of hearing about RED states and BLUE states...it's about the GOLDEN STATES, where golden retrievers rule and life is all about the Red, White and Blue!! This complimentary reception will include a wonderful buffet and the unveiling of Jim Tweedy's latest work to benefit GBGRR: "In Goldens We Trust!" The original acrylic will be auctioned off to benefit GBGRR and there will be a prize drawing for a signed, custom-framed giclée print of "In Goldens We Trust." Other prizes will include a Mexican vacation stay and an Apple i-pod. Prize tickets will be $10/each or $25/three - even if the economic times are trust, you can always invest in GOLD -- golden retrievers, that is!.
