Cocker Spaniel Rescue of East Texas-Houston THREE Saturday Adoption Locations!
Saturday, October 11, 2008 from 11 AM - 2 PM PetSmart PetSmart Enchanted Forest Colt is just one of the many beautiful Cocker Spaniel Kids who have been saved by Cocker Spaniel Rescue of East Texas - Houston. Colt is a shy two year old who turns bubbly as he gets to know you. He is a tall cocker loves everyone above the age of 10, including cats. He is crate trained and seems to be housebroken too. This sweet guy has a HUGE heart and he's sure to steal yours. Cocker Spaniel Rescue does not operate a shelter and has no paid staff. They are a network of foster homes that provide love, shelter, transportation, grooming and food for Cocker Spaniels in need. Funds collected by CSR are used primarily for veterinary care, medication, and boarding. Cocker Spaniel Rescue is classified by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) organization. I was honored to meet this dedicated group of volunteers last weekend in Humble! They are truly amazing!!! Please visit www.cockerkids.org for more information. 2 CommentsLeave a comment |
What a beautiful angel you are Colt! I hope & pray that you and the other Cocker kids find your loving forever homes soon!!!!!
I am fostering Colt. This healthy young shy boy is from the Rita B Huff Shelter from Huntsville, TX. If you'd like to meet him, you are welcome to complete an adoption application online. At first, he is scared of people getting to close, then warms up. This pure bred is larger than most cockers. He is a wonderful loving happy boy is learning manners. He is doggy door trained too! Yea! He needs to go to a family with another dog, small or large will be fine. He is fine with cats too. He loves to play, play, play, but his social skills are lacking but working on it. He loves to jump on you and their is no getting away from those wet mouthy kisses! He loves to sleep with us along with the other dogs. His bark is intimidating, but really a wonderful boy once you get to know him. It is best for him to go to an all adult family but is good with old children or strangers "as he gets to know them". He needs to go to an experienced dog person only. We adopt inside dogs only. He is fully vetted, has all of his vaccines and was neutered. If you would like to give this lovebug a chance, let us know. If anyone wants to inquire about him, please email cockerinfo@swbell.net ask for Deb. I would be happy to answer any questions you have about Colt.
