Borders will host autograph signing event on September 27, 2008

WHAT: Autograph Signing Event for 2009 Astros Player & Pet Calendar

WHEN: Saturday, September 27, 2008 from 10 am - 12 pm CT

WHERE: The Borders store at 3025 Kirby (at Alabama )

WHY: All of the proceeds from the 2009 Astros Player & Pet Calendar will benefit the Houston Humane Society (HHS) and the Astros in Action Foundation thanks to the generosity of pet friendly Hotel Derek, Pet Paradise and TGS-Nopec Geophysical Company, who covered the expenses associated with the project. Astros players will be on hand to offer complimentary autographs on the calendars and to thank people for supporting the project and helping to "strike-out" pet overpopulation.
