Sherman is just one of the many beautiful Cocker Spaniel Kids who have been saved by Cocker Spaniel Rescue of East Texas - Houston. When Sherman first came into rescue he was so overweight that his foster mom affectionately called him "Sherman Tank". After being diagnosed with hypothyroidism and going on a quick diet, Sherman is fabulous with his Fabio physique and long flowing ears. At 5-6 years old, Sherman is a sweet laid-back boy who loves life and entertains himself by watching squirrels, playing ball and chewing on nylabones. Sherman is very smart, housetrained and seeking his forever home.

Cocker Spaniel Rescue does not operate a shelter and has no paid staff. They are a network of foster homes that provide love, shelter, transportation, grooming and food for Cocker Spaniels in need. Funds collected by CSR are used primarily for veterinary care, medication, and boarding. Cocker Spaniel Rescue is classified by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) organization.
