Here's Skippy!
Skippy was adopted last week but returned. He's back at Missouri City Animal Control waiting for his forever home. He is a 3 to 4-month-old male lab mix puppy. He's a very sweet, loving little boy who will grow up to be about 60 pounds. Skippy is fully vaccinated! PETSMART in Missouri City has offered anyone that adopts from the shelter, FIFTEEN DOLLARS OFF THEIR FIRST VETERINARY VISIT!! The Animal Control kennel is located in a secured compound, adjacent to the City Hall complex at 1923 Scanlin Road, Missouri City,TX 77489. If you wish to adopt an animal, please call 281.403.8707 to make an appointment. 3 CommentsLeave a comment |
Poor little Skippy! What a cute little boy! I hope that he finds his forever home soon! How sad and confusing for him that he was returned to the shelter. Hope & prayers for you Skippy!
(I have a great suggestion for people who are adopting a dog for the first time or for people who are frustrated with their pets, or just like to read about doing better for your pet. Buy the book "Cesar's Way" by Cesar Millan. It is an incredible book and will change how you deal with your dog and even help you find the calmness in yourself. I LOVE this book! It's very enlightening! And it does help! I've changed a few things that I thought I was doing right, to his recommendation. Let me tell you, it made a big difference! SO, it doesn't matter how centered we think we are, when it comes to our pets, we aren't always quite there. Our pets pick up on our emotions and if we can be calm, then our animals will be calm. Just FYI! It could be the ticket to saving a "thought to be unsavable" pet!)
I have a correction. It's "Be the Pack Leader" that I'm reading right now. I have both, but started with this one first! It's GREAT!
Such a cutie!! I wonder what "was wrong" that the family didnt give it a little longer! Good luck to you Skippy - your forever family is out there just waiting for you!!
